We are seeking an experienced Property Manager for our client and to succeed in this role, you should be driven by quality and attention to detail. This is a role covering property management and some client facing – tenancy accounting and would suit someone looking to develop in their role and take the next step in their career.
Property Manager – Company profile:

Property Manager – Duties:
- Property Management:
- Instructing contractors appropriately to undertake routine maintenance
- Organising routine lettings compliance i.e. gas safety/electrical safety etc.
- Organising property inspections & sending out reports to clients
- Deposit release, check out reports, costing dilapidations, agreeing repayments and arranging transfer.
- Out of hours emergency repairs cover
- Managing housing license applications
- Negotiating tenancy renewals and drawing up the necessary paperwork
Client Accounts:
- Collecting & authorising rent payments & chasing arrears
- Charging contractor expenses, weekly payment and production of statements
- Setting up new tenancy on system
- Preparation of annual landlord tax statements and annual return of landlord income to HMRC
- Ensuring accurate daily banking totals and regular account reconciliation
Property Manager – Profile:
- Previous experience running a portfolio is a residential property manager role
- Some knowledge or oversight on lettings accounts is desired but not essential
- Detailed orientated and good numeracy level
- Communication skills, face- to face and over the telephone should be excellent
- Passion and commitment to high levels of customer service
- ARLA qualified is desired or qualified by experience
- Familiar with property management systems and ideally Alto accounting software (not essential).
Property Manager – Package:
Annual salary £34-36,000 pa
Potential to earn commission by selling Rental Protection Insurance
Office based in West London (no hybrid working)
Monday to Friday- 9:00am-18:00
Holiday allowance: (20 days plus 8 Bank holidays and closed across Christmas season)
Company Pension Employer 3%, Employee 5%
