Company Profile:

Procurement Managers are a key part of the organisation and deliver the procurement programme through an effective business partnering approach. They ensure it is delivered in a robust and commercially effective manner, effectively managing risks and ensuring that third-party products and services align with the organisation’s core values while contributing to overall corporate success.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage approximately £600 million annual spending with third parties.
  • Drive compliance and commercial thinking to maximize spending power.
  • Deliver efficiencies and savings across the business.
  • Lead on complex procurement projects.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Procurement Manager.
  • Develop and deliver procurement strategies.
  • Independently deliver a wide range of procurement projects through various procedures.
  • Engage in a varied and challenging scope of work.
  • Take responsibility and build strong relationships.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience within procurement, preferably within the housing sector.
  • Delivered on complex above-threshold tenders.
  • Previous exposure to Find a Tender (FTS) compliant frameworks.
  • Familiarity with new procurement regulations and up-to-date knowledge of changes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Public Contract Regulations (PCR’s 2015) and available procurement procedures.
  • Application of procurement procedures in Charity / Social Housing context.
  • Confidence and good communication skills.
  • Ability to build and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong team player capable of adapting to fluctuating workloads.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues when required.
  • Interest in being part of a team committed to making a real impact.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: £52,000 to £58,000.
